How does profanity reflect on how educated a person is?

Good question. I think that for some reason people stereotype foul language with younger or uneducated people. Why? I am not so sure. It doesn't make sense because I have seen all types of people with a bad mouth on them. I think that it has more to do with an individuals personality. My sibling and I grew up under the same household with the same rules... I use foul language, she never has and never will. It's just a persons personality and/or belief system.
