Do I need a work permit to teach cello?

I'm 15, turning 16 in a few months, and over the summer I want to teach 8-13 year olds how to play the cello. However, I don't know whether or not I need any type of permit to do this. This will be a self run business, and I am not in alliance with any other businesses. Thanks in advance!
